Wildflower Hall, a luxury resort in the Himalayas, was formerly the residence of Lord Kitchener, commander-in-chief of the British army. The resort is surrounded by 22 acres of magnificent cedar and pine forests, and offers breathtaking views of the Greater Himalayas.

Re-introducing its charter service to the resort, the Oberoi group's "Escape to Wildflower Hall in the Himalayas" is a special offer valid till June 20.

Priced Rs 10,400 per person per night (three nights), Rs 9,400 per person per night (four nights) and Rs 8,800 per person per night (five nights), inclusive of taxes, it includes deluxe accommodation, breakfast, dinner, and 25 per cent discount on all spa therapies.

Also thrown in door-to-door transportation to the resort, including car transfers to the airport and air transfer from New Delhi to Shimla and back. The charter service will operate two flights daily, except Wednesdays and Sundays.

The award winning "Oberoi Spa by Banyan Tree" offers holistic treatments based on western and Asian therapies to relax and rejuvenate. The resort has a fully equipped gymnasium and a heated indoor swimming pool with an outdoor Jacuzzi.

You can indulge in outdoor activities such as river rafting, mountain biking, horse riding, trekking, ice skating (in winter) and golf. Or simply walk or trek in the resort's forested surroundings. Guests can try their hand at croquet, billiards, and archery, or spend an evening in the Card Room.
