IIM-B campus is buzzing with action. VISTA-the annual management meet has kicked off on September 13.

VISTA aims to provide a platform for showcasing the best managerial talent from across the country.

This time, the event has cut across national boundaries as top B-schools across the globe would also be participating in the various events which are centred on the theme `Business beyond boundaries'.

Panel discussions, Media Conclaves, Reliance Numero Uno, Online@9 and Bizarre are among the various events that VISTA would cover.

The Panel Discussion is organised in association with the CII. The discussion would revolve around the theme for the year with the panel comprising some of the brightest and the best industry luminaries. Media Conclave would see some eminent media personalities discuss the future and role of media in a growing economy. The bigger attraction is going to be Reliance Numero Uno which is the hunt for young business leader in the country.

This is an event by invitation only in which the top 25 management institutes would be participating. The Numero Uno would be decided through a three-stage elimination process and would walk away with a pre-placement offer from Reliance.

IIM-B has partnered with Financial Technologies in conducting VISTA Online Wars, which will consist of a series of real-time online games. The games and simulations in the Online Wars aim to provide exposure to the world of commodities and foreign exchange trading.

The virtual battlefield would see participation from students as well as the corporate with a prize money of Rs 2 lakh at stake.Bizarre — the Tata Business Quiz hosted by Derek O'Brien would see a participation of over 500 young brains and a prize money of over Rs 50,000. Apart from these events, VISTA will play host to a number of exciting and educative games, workshops, case studies and business plans.
