Micromax has unveiled its new punch logo developed through a crowdsourcing exercise. The mobile phone maker ran a contest targeting the design community across the virtual world and students from over 150 colleges and design schools.
The contest, which ran for two months worldwide, got over 2,500 entries from more than 1,500 participants. Eric Atkins of the US crafted the winning logo and will get a MacBook Pro. According to Pratik Seal, Head- Marketing, Micromax, the new brand logo gives the company an opportunity to present a single, powerful and unified face to its customers around the world.
