Infrastructure financing firm IDFC will exit the benchmark NSE Nifty from tomorrow and will be replaced by auto component major Bosch.

Ahead of the exclusion, shares of IDFC fell 0.45 per cent to Rs 153.05 on the NSE today.

The changes will come into effect from tomorrow, in line with the announcement made late last month by India Index Services & Products Ltd (IISL), an NSE group firm that manages Nifty and other indices.

A host of modifications will also be introduced by its Index Maintenance Sub-Committee in various other NSE indices such as CNX Nifty Junior, CNX 100, CNX 200, CNX 500 and CNX Service Sector during a periodic review.

The stocks being excluded from Nifty Junior are Adani Enterprises and Bosch, while Britannia Industries and MRF make an entry.

Those being dropped from CNX 200 include Adani Enterprises and IDFC, while Alstom T&D India and City Union Bank will get in.
