Edible oils prices fall on Wednesday tracking bearish futures amid lack of demand. Liberty ’s rates for Palmolein Ex STC / Shapur were ₹576 / ₹577 for May. Super palmolein at₹597 for May and Soyabean refined oil ex Shapur ₹645 for May.
Allana’s ratesfor Palmolein were ex Khapoli / IVP ₹575 / ₹578 for June. Soya refined oil ₹642 for June. Sunflower refined oil ₹675 up to June.
Golden Agri was quoting palmolein lower at ₹565 for 10 June. Emami’s rates for palmolein was ₹565 for June. Parekh quoted soya ref. oil ₹640 for May and Sunflower refi. oil at ₹665 / ₹670 for May / June.
At Rajkot, groundnut oil Telia tin declined to ₹1,500 (1,510) and Loose (10 kg) to ₹940 (955).
On National Commodities and Derivatives Exchange Soyabean refined oil June -17 futures declined to ₹632.60 (636.50) and June-17 dropped to ₹633.20 (₹638.90).
Malaysian crude palm oil June-17 futures settled lower at MYR 2,861 (MYR 2,877) and July-17 ended at MYR2,699 (MYR 2,740).
On The Bombay Commodity Exchange spot rates (Rs/10 kg) were: groundnut oil 1,010 (1,020), soya refined oil 630 (635), sunflower exp. ref. 595 (595), sunflower ref. 662 (662), rapeseed ref. oil 730 (740), rapeseed expeller ref. 700 (710), cottonseed ref. oil 640 (642) and Palmolein 565 (566).
