Edible oils market remained firm tracking bullish futures amid higher physical demand. However, prices on the BCE, barring cotton oil which declined by ₹5, all other edible oils ruled steady. Local refineries kept their rates unchanged.
Liberty’s rates for palmolein were ₹647, super palmolein ₹657 and soyabean refined oil ₹667. Ruchi’s rates: palmolein ₹648, soyabean refined oil ₹670. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin was up at ₹1,950 (1,940) and loose (10 kg) increased to ₹1,250 (1,240). BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 1,250 (1,250), soya ref. 665 (665), sunflower exp. ref. 660 (660), sunflower ref. 730 (730), rapeseed ref. 900 (900), rapeseed exp. ref. 870 (870), cottonseed ref. 710 (715) and palmolein 638 (638).
