For the past fes sessions, chana has been witnessing a rise and fall in prices based on its demand and supply. Chana (kanta) declined to ₹2,775-2,800 on decline in demand at higher rate. Chana (desi) ruled at ₹2,400-2,500, chana (mausmi) at ₹2,500-2,600, while Kabuli Bitki ruled at ₹2,700-2,800.
According to Rahul Vora, a wholesale trader, chana may see some rally in the coming days given expected rise in demand during the ensuing festival season. Chana dal (average) at ₹3,100-3,300, chana dal (medium) at ₹3,400-3,500, while chana dal (bold) ruled at ₹3,700-3,800.Dollar chana ruled firm at ₹4,500-5,000.
