The 7th International Seminar on wheat and wheat products will be held in Chennai during September 2-3.
The seminar, which will primarily discuss on new technologies and marketing opportunities, will cover 22 themes over four sessions with about 30 experts of national and international reputation sharing their views.
Global wheat production and trade will be one of the highlights of the seminar, which will also discuss on milling and baking technologies and the role of wheat in sustainability of the food system.
Initiated by the Wheat Products Promotion Society, the seminar is co-sponsored by Roller Flour Millers’ Federation of India, Tamil Nadu Roller Flour Manufacturers’ Association, All India Bread Manufacturers’ Association and Society of Indian Bakers.
About 300 participants are expected to take part in the seminar.
