Edible oils market witnessed a steady trend tracking stable futures amid limited physical demand. On the BCE, prices for palmolein, soya oil and sunflower oil declined by ₹1, ₹3 and ₹5 per 10 kg each on higher reselling pressure while groundnut, rapeseed and cotton oil ruled unchanged. Thin volatility kept stockists away from fresh bets. Liberty traded palmolein at ₹638, super palmolein at ₹659 and soyabean refined oil ₹695. Ruchi’srates: soyabean refined oil ₹695, sunflower oil ₹702.50. Golden agri traded palmolein for ₹630. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin increased to ₹1,480 (1,470) and loose (10 kg) was up at ₹945 (935). BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 990 (990), soya ref. 692 (695), sunflower ref. 700 (703), rapeseed exp. ref. 770 (770), cottonseed ref. 695 (695) and palmolein 624 (625).
