Spot rubber showed a mixed trend on Friday. RSS 4 continued to rule steady at ₹134 a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade closed unchanged at ₹131 as reported by the dealers, while RSS 5 and ISNR 20 finished lower on buyer resistance.
October futures concluded at ₹133.48 (134.03), November at ₹133.01 (133.71), December at ₹134.50 (134.39) and January at ₹135 (135) on NMCE. RSS 3 (spot) dropped to ₹114.34 (116.18) at Bangkok. September futures slid to ₹119.94 (120.41) on the TOCOM. Spot rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 134 (134); RSS-5: 131 (132); ISNR 20: 117.50 (119) and Latex (60% drc): 85 (85).
