Edible oils market witnessed a cautious mood with thin and isolated volume in palmolein on the back of bearish overseas and domestic futures markets. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, barring groundnut oil, all other edible oils ruled steady.
Liberty traded palmolein at ₹496 JNPT, super palmolein ₹530 and soyabean refined oil ₹595. Ruchi’s rates: palmolein ₹495, soyabean refined oil ₹590, sunflower refined oil ₹700. Allana was quoting palmolein at ₹497, super palmolein ₹535, soyabean refined oil ₹591 and sunflower oil ₹705. In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil Telia tin declined to ₹1,500 (1,510) and loose (10 kg) at ₹940 (950).
BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 930 (940), soya ref. 595 (595), sunflower exp. ref. 635 (635), sunflower ref. 700 (700), rapeseed ref. oil 790 (790), rapeseed exp. ref. 760 (760), cottonseed ref. oil 600 (600) and palmolein 495 (495).
