Edible oils ruled steady barring palmolein and cotton refined oil which rose by ₹2/10 kg each. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, prices for major edible oils were unchanged on limited demand. Local demand was need-based and thin.
Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹503 ex JNPT, super palmolein ₹530 and soyabean refined oil ₹605. Ruchi traded palmolein for ₹498, soyabean refined oil ₹585 and sunflower refined oil ₹645. Allana was quoting palmolein at ₹503 and super palmolein ₹533, soyabean refined oil ₹600 and sunflower oil ₹645. In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil Telia tin was ₹1,270 (1,270) and loose (10 kg) ₹815 (815).
