Despite weak global cues, increased festive demand has perked up soy oil prices in Indore mandis in the past one week by ₹7 with soy refined prices today here being quoted at ₹672-75 for 10 kg, while soy solvent ruled at ₹642-45. Soybean ruled firm at₹3,000 a quintal, while new soybean in local mandis ruled at ₹2,200-2,950 a quintal depending upon moisture content in soybean. Plant deliveries of soybean today were being quoted at ₹2,050 a quintal. In futures however, soybean traded lower with its October and November contracts on the NCEDX today here closing at ₹3,074 (down ₹50) and ₹3,110 (down ₹40) a quintal respectively. Soy DOC on the spot today here being quoted at ₹22,500-23,000 a quintal.
