After making constant gain last week, groundnut oil traded flat since last two days as demand decreased at the higher level. Similar trend was seen in cotton oil also. Limited buying activity kept cotton oil steady. Groundnut oil loose was at ₹755-760 for 10 kg, Jamnagar line telia tin ₹1,180-81 for 15 kg while groundnut oil new tin was unchanged at ₹1,325-30 for 15 kg. About 4-5 tankers of groundnut oil were traded here as against last week’s 7-8 tankers. An edible oil trader said that buying from domestic brands were reduced. Price may fall further in coming days. Washed cotton oil traded at ₹615-618 for 10 kg and new tin stood at ₹1,080-1,100 for 15 kg. About 20-25 tankers of cotton oil were traded here.
