The wholesale jaggery market remained flat in the national capital on Saturday as prices continued to move in a tight range on lack of buying support and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said lack of worthwhile buying activity mainly kept gur prices unaltered.
The following are today’s quotations per quintal: Gur chakku Rs 2,850-2,900, pedi Rs 2,800-2,850, dhayya Rs 3,000-3,100 and shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,400-2,450, chakku Rs 2,700-2,800 and khurpa 2,500-2,550.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,600-2,650 and dhayya 2,550-2600.
