At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association Sales yard, the finger turmeric was sold at ₹4,677-8,699 a quintal, the root variety at ₹4,609-7,966 .
Salem Hybrid: The finger variety was sold at ₹6,809-9,794, the root variety at ₹6,514-8,469. Of the 2,752 bags that arrived, 1,420 were sold. At the Regulated Market Committee, the finger turmeric was sold at ₹7,798-8,599, the root variety at ₹7,339-8,212. Of the 1,336 bags on offer, 1,188 found takers. At the Erode Cooperative Marketing Society, the finger turmeric was sold at ₹7,696-8,889, the root variety at ₹6,819-8,067. Of the 1,810 bags on offer, 1,542 were sold.
At the Gobichettipalayam Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Society, the finger turmeric was sold at ₹7,169-8,651, the root variety at ₹6,687-8,989. Of the 341 bags placed for sale, 275 were t.
