Pulse seeds and pulses ruled firm in Indore mandis on Friday with moong and urad prices in the past one week gaining ₹300-400 a quintal on improved demand and buying support.
Rise in demand for Narmada-belt moong has perked up its prices by ₹300 in the past one week with moong (bold) at ₹6,300-6,500 a quintal, while moong (medium) ruled at ₹5,500-6,000. Moong dal (medium) was ₹7,200-7,400, while moong dal (bold) ruled at ₹7,600-7,800 and moong mongar ruled at ₹8,250-8,400.
Masur gained ₹50-75 on improved buying with masur (bold) at ₹5,100-25, while masur (Madhya Pradesh) was quoted at ₹4,500-4,800. Masur dal (average) was being quoted at ₹5,900-25, masur dal (medium) at ₹6,000-25, while masur dal (bold) ruled at ₹6,100-25.
Urad (bold) was being quoted at ₹5,300-5,400, while urad (medium) ruled at ₹4,500-4,800. Urad dal (medium) was at ₹6,200-6,400, urad dal (bold) at ₹6,500-6,700, while urad dal (mongar) ruled at ₹7,200-7,600 a quintal.
