Sugar market continued its uptrend on Monday on back of higher mill prices amid retail and bulk demand. At Vashi, spot rates were up by ₹20-30 a quintal. Naka rates were steady. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates: S-grade ₹3,960- 4,022 (3,930-4,022) and M-grade ₹4,022-4,281 (4,020-4,260). Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹3,920-3,980 (3,920-3,980) and M-grade ₹3,980-4,030 (3,980-4,030).
