Castor price moved down due to weak export demand and higher arrival. With this, castor futures too decreased on profit-booking. On the NCDEX, castor December contract lost ₹80 to ₹4,600 a quintal with an open interest of 208,170 lots. On the Rajkot Commodity Exchange, RCX December series lost ₹68 to ₹4,520. RCX spot castor was down ₹25 to ₹4,325. Castor oil lost ₹5 to ₹870/10 kg in Gujarat. About 30,000-32,000 bags of castor seed arrived in Gujarat and went for ₹870-880 per 20 kg.
