A majority of pulse seeds in Indore mandis witnessed an uptrend with demand outstripping arrivals. Masur prices in Indore mandis gained ₹100 on improved buying with masur (bold) at ₹5,300-50 a quintal, while masur (Madhya Pradesh) rose to ₹4,600-4,900.
With domestic stock in masur almost coming to a naught, dependency on imported masur has increased. . Masur dal (average) was being quoted at ₹6,000-50, masur dal (bold) ₹6,100-50, while masur dal (bold) ruled at ₹6,200- 6,300.Urad (bold) rose to ₹6,000-6,100, while urad (medium) ruled at ₹5,200-5,500. Urad dal (medium) was ₹6,300-6,500, urad dal (bold) at ₹6,700-6,800, while urad mongar ruled at ₹7,400-7,700.
Moong (bold) rose to ₹6,600-6,800 while moong (medium) ruled at ₹5,000-5,600. Moong dal (medium) was ₹7,500-7,600, moong dal (bold) at ₹8,200-8,400, while moong mongar ruled at ₹8,500-8,700.
