Jeera settled down on profit booking after prices gained due to expectation of higher demand in the physical market. It was declined marginally on higher arrival in spot.
Trader said that farmers selling were improved during last one week as prices of jeera gained. On the other side, demand was limited on which prices were declined in physical markets.
Following the spot, jeera decreased in futures as speculators booked the profit.
At Unjha mandi of Gujarat, about 7,000-8,000 bags of jeera arrived and price was declined by ₹25 to ₹2,400-3,300 per 20 kg. About 600 bags arrived in Rajkot APMC and price decreased by ₹20 to ₹2,600-3,250 per 20 kg.
