Jeera traded down on rising arrival of new jeera crop. About 12,000 bagsarrived in Unjha mandi of Gujarat and price moved down by ₹20 to ₹3,300-3,7,00 per 20 kg. At Rajkot APMC, jeera arrival reported about 2,000 bags and price declined by ₹15 to 3,000-3,600 per 20 kg. Following the physical market, profit booking pulled down jeera on futures. At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange (NCDEX) jeera March contract traded down by ₹80 to ₹17,310 per quintal, with an open interest of 4,917 lots. NCDEX April contract decreased by ₹175 to ₹17,015 per 100 kg, with an open interest of 3,405 lots.
