Groundnut oil remained unchanged as demand was limited. Buying in retail market was poor and there was a restricted demand from stockists and brands. According to market sources, overall demand in groundnut oil was lower but price was steady on short supply of groundnuts for crushing. Groundnut oil loose stood at ₹990-995 per 10 kg, Jamnagar line telia tin ₹1,532-33 per 15 kg and groundnut oil new tin ₹1,695-1,700 per 15 kg. About 5-7 tankers of groundnut oil were traded in Saurashtra’s oil mills. Washed cotton oil edged up by ₹3 to ₹530-533 per 10 kg and cotton oil new tin was unchanged at ₹980-1,000 per 15 kg. About 25-30 tankers of cotton oil were traded.
