Edible oils market witnessed a mixed trend on Friday tracking overnight sharp drop in futures. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, soyabean, sunflower and rapeseed oil rose by ₹5/10 kg each. Cotton oil and Palmolein declined by ₹2 and ₹1 each. Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹512-514, super palmolein ₹540 and soyabean refined oil ₹615. Ruchi traded palmolein for ₹505, soyabean refined oil ₹603 and sunflower refined oil ₹615. Allana was quoting palmolein for ₹520, super palmolein ₹545, soyabean refined oil ₹620.
In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil Telia tin was ₹1,325 (₹1,335) and loose (10 kg) declined to ₹845 (₹850).
BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 880 (880), soya refined oil 610 (605), sunflower exp. ref. 570 (570), sunflower ref. 625 (620), rapeseed ref. oil 730 (725), rapeseed expeller ref. 700 (695), cottonseed ref. oil 628 (630) and Palmolein 505 (506).
