Edible oils ruled steady on routine demand and supply. Cotton oil lost ₹2/10 kg as arrivals of new crop poured in, while groundnut oil extended gains. Imported palmolein, soyabean, sunflower and rapeseed oil ruled steady. Malaysian market was closed.
Liberty traded palmolein ex JNPT for ₹613, super palmolein for ₹638. Allana’s rates: palmolein ex Khapoli ₹622, soya refined oil ₹685, sunflower refined oil ₹700. Ruchi quoted ₹610 for palmolein, ₹665 for soyabean refined oil and ₹690 for sunflower refined oil. Golden agri traded palmolein at ₹610.
At Rajkot, groundnut oil increased by ₹10 to ₹1,290 for telia tin and loose (10 kg) was higher by ₹10 to ₹800.
