Amid declining arrivals, mustard seeds and raida have been witnessing an uptrend with mustard seeds prices in the physical market here today rising to ₹4,350 a quintal (up ₹100), while raida rose to ₹4,250 (up ₹150). Weak arrival also lifted plant deliveries of mustard seeds for Jaipur line today to ₹4,855-60 (4,825-30 last week). Trading in mustard oil continued to remain negligible with its prices in Indore mandis today being quoted at ₹770/10 kg. Mustard seeds arrival across the country today was recorded at 1.35 lakh bags with Rajasthan leading with 65,000 bags, followed by Uttar Pradesh, Haryana/Punjab with 20,000 bags each, Madhya Pradesh - 7,000 bags, Gujarat - 5,000 bags, while 18,000 bags were offloaded elsewhere in the country.
