Prices of poultry-feed products are likely to remain unchanged for the next few days.
Aditya Mishra, a commodity expert, told Business Line that prices of a few ingredients have come down but it hasn’t made any major impact on the cost of production.
In the physical market, soyameal eased by ₹1,500 and sold at ₹39,200 a tonne, while bajra ruled flat at ₹13,200 a tonne. Maize eased by ₹20 to ₹1,300 a quintal. Rice bran oil was at ₹54/kg, DCP was at ₹32.60, MBM went down by ₹2 and was at ₹46, DRB was at ₹9,000 while mustard de-oiled cake improved by ₹100 to ₹15,300 a tonne.
Layer concentrate 25 per cent was sold at ₹1,545 while Layer concentrate 35 per cent was ₹1,225. Pre starter mash sold at ₹1,700 while Broiler concentrate quoted ₹2,260 for a 50-kg bag.
Broiler went down by ₹12 and was at ₹80/kg, egg went up by 40 paise and was at ₹2.90 while chick went for ₹12, ₹1 down.
