Castor futures moved down on the back of profit booking by traders. Though, spot price continued to be traded up on short supply and expectation of higher exports. Moreover, good sowing across the country may pressurise the future price in coming days. On the NCDEX, September contract declined ₹39 to ₹4,150/quintal. October contract was down by ₹37 to ₹4,188. On the Rajkot Commodity Exchange (RCX), December series decreased ₹50 to ₹4,301. RCX spot castor gained ₹37.50 to ₹4,000. About 18,000-20,000 bags of castor arrived in Gujarat and went for ₹805-815 for a maund of 20 kg. Around 1,900-2,000 bags arrived in Saurashtra and price was at ₹765-775. Castor oil was traded at ₹825/10 kg.
