Profit booking and decline in buying support at higher rates arrested the uptrend in pulses and pulse seeds in Indore mandis with tur (Mahrashtra) declining by ₹100-150 to ₹5,250 a quintal in a week. Tur (Madhya Pradesh) ruled at ₹4,300-4,500. With new tur crop still a few months away, prospects seem bright given the dependency on imports. Tur dal (full) was at ₹7,400-7,500, tur dal (sawa no.) ₹6,600-6,900, while tur marka ruled at ₹7,800-7,900. Urad (bold) was being quoted at ₹5,600-5,700, while urad (medium) ruled at ₹5,000-5,200. Urad dal (medium) was ruling at ₹6,000-6,100, urad dal (bold) ₹6,500-6,600, while urad mongar ruled at ₹8,500-9,000. Sluggish trend also continued in moong on slack demand with moong (bold) declining by ₹200 to ₹7,500-7,600, while moong (medium) declined to ₹7,000-7,100. Moong dal (medium) ruled at ₹8,400-8,600, moong dal (bold) ₹8,700-8,900, while moong mongar ruled at ₹9,500-9,600 a quintal respectively.
