Slack physical demand and pressure of increased arrival of mustard seeds have dragged soya oil prices with soya refined in local mandis being quoted at ₹670-75, while soya solvent ruled at ₹640-42. According to traders, sluggish trend will likely to continue in soya oil, given week demand and rise in arrival of mustard seeds.

With traders and stockists engaged in building inventories, arrival of soyabean in mandis across Madhya Pradesh continues to be on the lower side. Arrival of soybean in Indore mandis on Monday was recorded at 3,500 bags, while 4,500 bags were offloaded in Dewas mandi.
Amid slack domestic and export demand, soyameal prices in the domestic market today ruled steady at ₹39,000-39,200, while it was quoted at ₹41,000 a quintal on the port.
