Spot rubber prices ruled steady on Thursday. Trading activities were extremely low as the market continued to remain in a holiday mood ahead of Good Friday.
Sheet rubber was unchanged at ₹145 a kg, according to traders. The grade slipped to ₹144.50 (₹145) and ₹141.50 (₹142) respectively, as quoted by the Rubber Board and dealers.
May futures weakened to ₹143.90 (₹144.71), June to ₹146.50 (₹147.30) and July to ₹146.50 (₹147.83), while the rubber mini May futures slipped to ₹142.99 (₹144.53) and June to ₹146.50 (₹147.30) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) declined to ₹135.61 (₹136.84) at Bangkok. April futures closed at ¥216.5 (₹128.06) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange.
Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 145 (145); RSS-5: 140 (140); Ungraded: 135 (135); ISNR 20: 133 (133) and Latex 60%: 118 (118).
