Castorseed futures gained as traders started covering on export demand in the spot market. Besides, weak production estimates for the current year also aided the rise. On the NCDEX, castorseed April contract was up ₹62 to ₹3,998 while May contract increased by ₹54 to ₹4,038 a quintal with an open interest of 170,360 lots. On Rajkot Commodity Exchange, castorseed June contract gained ₹51 at ₹4,064. RCX spot castorseed was traded at ₹3,837.50. Castor oil improved by ₹3 to ₹805/10 kg. Traders said that demand for castor meal and castor oil has improved after prices went down last week. Moreover, weak production estimate has also supported the uptrend in price. Castor spot was upby ₹5-7 to ₹765-775 for 20 kg. About 7,500-7,600 bags of castor arrived in Saurashtra for ₹740-750. Our Correspondent
