Downtrend continued in chana and other pulse seeds on slack buying and demand from the millers with chana (kanta) on Tuesday declining to ₹4,400, while chana (desi) ruled at ₹4,200 a quintal. Decline in chana also dragged dal with chana dal (average) on Tuesday being quoted at ₹5,300-5,500 (down ₹100 from last week), chana dal (medium) was quoted at ₹5,600-5,700, while chana dal (bold) ruled at ₹5,900-6,300 . In container, however, dollar chana traded low with 42/44 count being quoted at ₹5,925-50 (6,200-25), 44/46 count at ₹5,750-75 (6,000-25), while dollar chana 58/60 count ruled at ₹5,075-5,100 (5,350-75), while dollar (60/62 count) declined to ₹4,975-5,000 (5,259-75).
