Spot rubber closed almost steady on Thursday. RSS 4 was quoted unchanged at ₹122 a kg by traders. The grade weakened to ₹121.50 (122) and ₹118.50 (119) respectively, according to Rubber Board and dealers. The October futures dropped to ₹120.50 (121.37), November to ₹118.50 (119.92) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) slid to ₹ 95.56 (95.77) a kg at Bangkok. The October futures declined to ¥164.5 (₹92.27) a kg on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 122 (122); RSS-5: 115 (115); Ungraded: 103 (103); ISNR 20: 104 (104) and Latex 60%: 86 (86.50).
