Spot rubber closed unchanged on Thursday. RSS 4 finished flat at Rs.149.00 a kg according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade was steady at Rs.146.00 a kg according to dealers. The volumes were extremely low as most traders preferred to sideline the market during the last days of the current financial year.The April futures improved marginally to Rs.146.91 (146.13), May to Rs. 152.18 (150.78) and June to Rs.155.00 (154.70) per kg on National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE). RSS 3 (spot) weakened to Rs.155.25 (156.96) a kg at Bangkok. The March futures was totally inactive during the day session but then declined sharply to ¥ 257.0 (Rs.151.46) from ¥ 277.0 (Rs.163.18) per kg in the night session on Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM).
