Spot rubber finished firm on Tuesday. RSS 4 improved to ₹131.50 (130.50) a kg according to traders. The grade firmed up to ₹131 (130) and ₹128 (127) respectively according to the Rubber Board and the dealers. The trend was mixed. December futures concluded at ₹133.50 (133.28), January at ₹134.88 (135.32), February at ₹137.05 (137.62), March at ₹138.75 (138.01) and April at ₹143.50 (139.39) on NMCE. RSS 3 (spot) weakened to ₹103.01 (104.36) at Bangkok. December futures firmed up to ₹110.38 (109.61)on TOCOM. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 131.50 (130.50); RSS-5: 128 (127.50); ISNR 20: 112.50 (113) and Latex (60% drc): 92.50 (92.50).
