Spot rubber finished firm on Tuesday. RSS 4 improved further to ₹143 (₹140) a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade firmed up to ₹140 (₹137) as reported by the dealers. July futures weakened to ₹145.12 (₹146.02), August to ₹141.82 (₹142.12) and September to ₹136.99 (₹138) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) closed marginally higher at ₹117.88 (₹117.31) at Bangkok. July futures firmed up to ¥166 (₹109.36) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 143 (140); RSS-5: 139 (136); Ungraded: 120 (120); ISNR 20: 120(119) and Latex (60% drc): 100 (100).
