Quiet conditions developed in the wholesale sugar market at national capital today following sporadic buying support amid restricted arrivals. Marketmen said reduced supply against small buying support mainly kept prices unmoved.
The following were today’s quotations per quintal: Sugar ready: M—30 Rs 3,260-3,360, S-30 Rs 3,240-3,340.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,100-3,230; S-30 Rs 3,090-3,220.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3,155, Kinnoni 3,220, Asmoli 3,175, Dorala 3,150, Budhana 3,145, Thanabhavan 3,140, Dhanora 3,130, Simbholi 3,200, Modi Nagar 3,140, Khatuli 3,120, Dhampur 3,110, Ramala 3,100.
Bulandshar 3,100, Anupshar 3,090, Baghpat 3,110, Morna 3,100, Sakoti 3,100, Chandpur 3,090, Amroha 3,100 and Nazibabad 3090.
