Pulse seeds and pulses ruled firm in Indore mandis amid subdued demand barring urad which gained ₹100 with demand outstripping arrival.

Tur for the past sometime has been ruling steady on subdued demand with prices of tur (Maharashtra) on Wednesday being quoted at ₹4,300 a quintal , while tur (Madhya Pradesh) ruled at ₹3,800-3,900.

However, given higher imports, decline in domestic stock and delay in sowing due to late monsoon, future of tur appears bullish. Rise in festival demand in the coming days, may perk up its prices by ₹400-500 a quintal, said Hanuman Jain, a pulse trader.

Tur dal (full) was being quoted at ₹6,300-6,700, tur dal (full) at ₹5,800-6,000, while tur marka ruled at ₹7,050.

Moong moong (bold) was at ₹6,000-6,100, while moong (medium) ruled at ₹5,500-5,900. Moong dal (medium) was ₹7,000-7,200, moong dal (bold) ₹7,400-7,600, while moong mongar ruled at ₹8,050-8,250. Urad (bold) was being quoted at ₹5,100-5,300, while urad (medium) ruled at ₹4,200-4,700 a quintal.
