In the leaf counter, only 41,000 kg will be orthodox, while 6.52 lakh kg will be CTC. Among the dusts, only 42,000 kg will be orthodox and the rest 3.06 lakh kg CTC.

About 1.76 lakh kg of teas unsold in previous weeks are being re-offered this week.

In the leaf auction last week, Hindustan Unilever Ltd bought medium varieties. Godfrey Philips India Ltd was selective. In the dust auction, HUL was selective. Indcoserve showed some interest in smaller grades.
