In the absence of global cues and negligible arrival, soyabean and soya oil traded higher with bean prices in private trading at ₹3,950-4,000 a quintal. Arrival of soyabean in mandis across Madhya Pradesh were negligible at 8,000-10,000 bags on Monday with a majority of mandis remaining closed today on account of Buddha Jayanti . Plant deliveries too rose to ₹3,975-4,000. Soya oil also traded marginally higher on scattered buying support with soyabean refined oil today being quoted at ₹595-600 a quintal, while soya solvent ruled at ₹575-78 for 10 kg. Soyameal ruled stable at ₹36,500 a quintal on subdued buying, while on the port it was quoted at ₹38,000 on slack export demand.
