Barring tur, majority of pulses and pulse seeds in Indore mandis traded lower on slack physical demand.
Tur (Maharashtra) gained ₹150 to ₹4,600 a quintal, while tur (lemon) at ₹4,600-4,700 and tur (Madhya Prdesh) quoted at ₹4,300 a quintal respectively. Tur dal (sawa no.) was at ₹6,000-6,200, while tur dal (full) ruled at ₹7,000-7,600. However, rally in tur appears unlikely given bumper crop report and rise in sowing area.
Urad (bold) was down ₹300 at ₹6,000; urad (medium) at ₹5,300. Urad dal (medium) was ₹7,000-7,100, urad dal (bold) at ₹7,400-7,500, while urad mongar ruled at ₹7,000-7,200 a quintal .
