Sugar prices declined by ₹15-20 a quintal in spot and naka on back of sharp drop in futures amid decline in mill tender rates by ₹10-20. Stockists are carrying 110-115 truck loads of stocks and they prefer to stay away keeping the activities limited. Arrivals were at 58-60 truck loads and local dispatches were at 55-56 loads. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates: S-grade ₹3,660-3,742 (3,660-3,772) and M-grade ₹3,752-3,862 (3,752-3,872). Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹3,630-3,730 (3,640-3,750) and M-grade ₹3,740-3,840 (3,740-3,840).
