The Bombay High Court will hear on Monday the writ petition filed by the NSEL Investors’ Action Group against the government agencies including Economic Offences Wing of Mumbai police, CBI and Enforcement Directorate seeking faster investigation in the ₹5,600-crore settlement crisis that broke out in 2013. The petition noted that the probe should be conducted by a joint investigation team including Economic Offences Wing, Central Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement Directorate.
The writ has made the Union of India and the State of Maharashtra as respondents.
