Jay Hind Investments has hiked its stake in Force Motors through purchase of 4.2 lakh shares from the market on July 31 in a bulk deal valued at Rs 23.10 crore.
With a total of 72.68 lakh shares, the promoter now holds 55.16 per cent of the paid-up equity capital of Force Motors Ltd. Prior to this deal, Jay Hind’s holding stood at 68.48 lakh shares, Force Motors said in a filing to the BSE.
In another bulk deal executed on the same day, 5.8 lakh shares of Force Motors were purchased in a deal worth Rs 32.28 crore. July also saw two other bulk deals in the Pune-based automaker valued at Rs 20.95 crore.
