Gold futures on MCX opened higher at Rs 30,573 per 10 gram on Thursday against Rs 30,554. The April contract made a high of Rs 30,585 and low of Rs 30,511. It was down 0.03 per cent at Rs 30,545 at 1.15 pm.
In Comex, the yellow metal for April delivery was down by $1 at $1,644 a troy ounce at 1.15 pm. Spot gold on Comex was down by $6 at $1,643.
