Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has increased its stake in Tata Power to 12.633 per cent (34,16,79,327 shares) from 10.584 per cent (28,62,58,620 shares).
The acquisition of 2.049 per cent stake was done through an open market transaction on October 16, 2014, said LIC in an exchange filing.
