The equity shares of Kerala-based NBFC Manappuram Finance have been included by the NSE for trading in the futures & options (F&O) segment, effective from June 30, 2017. Currently, the NSE has 209 stocks in the F&O segment. The market lot, scheme of strikes and quantity freeze limit of the scrip will be separately informed by the NSE on June 29 . Inclusion in the F&O segment can help investors create short or long positions and also initiate a hedging mechanism.
