Justice A.P. Shah headed Panel, which was tasked to examine matters relating to minimum alternate tax (MAT) on foreign institutional investors (FII), has invited suggestions of stakeholders, including industry associations.
This panel has been asked to specifically look at MAT related to FIIs for the period prior to April 1, 2015.
The suggestions would have to be sent to this panel by June 22.
This committee - which met for the first time on Monday - may if required call representatives of industry association for interaction between June 29 and July 6, an official release said.
