Private equity firm Apax Partners on Monday sold 63.85 lakh shares of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd at an average price of Rs 830 a share, making the deal worth about Rs 530 crore.
Oppenheimer Funds Inc was the buyer, according to BSE block deal data.
At the end of December quarter, Apax Partners Europe Managers Ltd held 1.34 crore shares or 9.67 per cent stake in Apollo Hospitals Enterprise.
Shares of Apollo Hospitals slipped 0.24 per cent to settle at Rs 836.30 on the BSE.
